About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL B driver to support local operations based in Plainfield, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 PM start time
- Pay: $0.54 per mile, up to $1,400 per week
Job Details
- Route Type: Local
- Equipment: 28' Box Truck with liftgate, Automatic transmission
- Handling: Touch freight, manual and electric pallet jacks
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL B equipment on local routes
- Transport CDL B equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including touch freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL B
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: Hazmat
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
