TransForce is seeking CDL A Drivers based in Troy, OH. This position offers steady work as a floater, covering PTO, extra routes, and call-offs as needed. Drivers will pick up auto parts from suppliers and haul car parts to dealerships.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday night through Saturday morning, PM shift
- Work Week: Steady 5 days of work per week
- Pay: $350.72/day as a floater
- Additional Pay: Delay time paid at $24.06/hour when applicable and verified through driver logs and trip sheets
Job Details
- Freight / Load Type: Auto parts delivered to dealerships
- Handling: Touch freight using a lift gate; deliveries include moving parts to dealerships in cages
- Position Type: Floater role covering PTO, extra routes, and call-offs. If no coverage is needed, drivers may ride with another driver and assist
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up auto parts from suppliers and haul car parts to dealerships
- Perform touch freight using a lift gate
- Move freight in cages during dealership deliveries
- Cover PTO, extra routes, call-offs, and other operational needs as assigned
- Maintain accurate driver logs and trip sheets
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- License: CDL A
- Endorsements: Doubles endorsement preferred
