TransForce is seeking a CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support operations based in Baltimore, MD. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12AM - 2AM start times; 2 layovers a week in a hotel or sleeper truck
- Pay: $300 per day; $50 Per Diem - $1500/Week
Job Details
- Route Type: Local and some regional - 2 layovers a week; $50 per diem
- Freight / Load Type: Wood moulding
- Equipment: Flatbed
- Handling: Strapping
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a flatbed truck on local and some regional routes
- Transport wood moulding in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including strapping
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
Minimum Requirements
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Equipment Experience: Flatbed, manual transmission
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
