The TPS Fabricator works closely with Team Leaders, Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians to assist with rapid improvements, rapid experimentation, and to provide key support to Team Leaders and Supervisors to assist with A3 problem solving

Responsibilities Design and/or fabricate items brought about through TPS/Kaizen events
Perform a variety of welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, and carpentry functions
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Participate in various TPS/Kaizen events
Position requires handling scrap materials and disposable protective clothing containing lead which requires proper disposal as a hazardous waste
Performs whatever other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications Requires high level welding skills
Interpretation of blue prints and schematics
Creative ability to fabricate from general descriptions
Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Office suite)
