About the Position We are currently seeking a CDL B Box Truck Driver for a Temp to Perm position in Portland, Maine. The role involves delivering HVAC supplies within a 100-mile radius of Portland, with a pay rate of $28 per hour and overtime after 40 hours.
Pay & Schedule - Pay Rate: $28 per hour
- Overtime: Available after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 6 AM
Job Details - Route Type: Local - deliveries within 100 miles of Portland, ME
- Freight: HVAC Supplies
- Equipment: 26' box truck with automatic transmission
- Handling: Deliveries to job sites, warehouses, and retail stores. Large items will be customer unloaded.
- Stops: 12-15 stops per day
Key Responsibilities - Deliver HVAC supplies to various locations
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
Minimum Requirements - 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- CDL B License required
