The Associate Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist assists in performing advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Under the supervision of leadership and the care team, the Associate Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist monitors patient conditions, ensures equipment readiness, and assists in patient positioning, while adhering to safety and sterile protocols in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role is an entry-level position with a focus on gaining hands-on experience in the cardiovascular specialty.

As a Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist, you will play a vital role in supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by providing high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you will operate specialized cardiovascular imaging equipment, capture real-time images to guide procedures, and ensure accurate documentation within PACS. Responsibilities also include monitoring equipment performance and safety, performing routine maintenance and quality checks, and coordinating equipment service and technology needs to support efficient, uninterrupted patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours or completion of RCIS training certification.
Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
Certification/Registration: ARRT ( R ) or RCIS; Basic Life Support (BLS)

Physical Requirements:
• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
