Job Description
Under the supervision of the physician, provides patient services using diagnostic ultrasound for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures. Assists the physicians in gathering sonographic data necessary to make diagnostic decisions.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Currently registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Currently registered with ARDMS as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. OB/GYN registry required within six (6) months of employment. Cervical Length certification required with six (6) months of employment. Obtains fetal echocardiography certification within 18 months of hire. CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
