CDL A Reefer Driver - $26.50 per hour - Lawrenceville, GA About the Position TransForce is seeking qualified CDL Class A Reefer Drivers to support the distribution operation in Lawrenceville, GA. This position involves food service deliveries to coffee chain locations using refrigerated equipment. Drivers must be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable with multiple-stop routes and touch freight.
Pay & Schedule Details - Pay Rate: Training Pay is $26.50 per hour
- Average Gross Pay: $1,875-$2,100 per week after training
- Estimated First-Year Earnings: Approximately $97,000
- Schedule: Start time 1 pm - 4.30 pm
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Details - Route Type: Local and overnight food service deliveries
- Freight: Touch freight, including milk crates
- Equipment: Refrigerated trucks and trailers
- Handling: Physical unloading at customer locations
Key Responsibilities - Operate CDL Class A refrigerated equipment for deliveries
- Complete local and overnight routes to national coffee chain locations
- Unload freight at multiple stops (approximately 12 to 15 stops per night)
- Occasionally operate a CDL-B truck when needed
Minimum Requirements - 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Reefer experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with touch freight and food service deliveries
- Must be safety-focused, dependable, and professional
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
