About the Position Our client is seeking CDL A Route Drivers to haul refrigerated food products to stores. This position requires unloading of products using a lift gate, hand carts, and u-boats. Each driver will have a helper on every route.
Pay & Schedule - Pay is $341.60 per day for a 5-day schedule or $356.50 per day for a 4-day schedule
- Dispatch times start at 1 PM
- 10-12 hours per day
- Days off are either Friday & Saturday, Sunday & Monday, or Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday
Job Details - Route Type: Local
- Freight: Refrigerated food products
- Equipment: 42-48' trailers with automatic transmissions
- Handling: Unloading required using lift gate and hand carts
- Stops: 16-20 stops per day covering NJ, DE, and eastern PA
Key Responsibilities - Transport refrigerated food products to designated locations
- Unload products using appropriate equipment
- Ensure timely delivery and adherence to schedules
- Maintain communication with dispatch
- Follow all safety and compliance regulations
Minimum Requirements - 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- CDL A license required
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
