About the Position We're seeking experienced CDL A drivers for a local driving position with a Monday to Friday schedule, offering competitive pay and the chance to work with a reputable company.
Pay & Schedule Details - Pay Rate: $28/hr
- Overtime: Available after 40 hours
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (95% of the time), with occasional Friday layovers in Pennsylvania
- Hours per Week: 40
- Work Hours: 12-hour days
Job Details - Route Type: Local
- Freight: Metals, beams, plates, and tubing
- Equipment: Automatic tandem axle day cab
- Handling: Tarping and strapping required; no loading or unloading
- Travel Areas: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania
Key Responsibilities - Safely operate a CDL A vehicle
- Transport freight to designated locations
- Ensure proper tarping and strapping of loads
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Minimum Requirements - 9+ monthsof recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
