Class B CDL Driver with Air Brake Endorsement
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class B truck driver to serve our trash and recycling company.
Responsibilities
Collect and transport residential and commercial garbage and deliver to waste disposal centers
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
Follow routes and meet service schedules
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Report defects, accidents or violations
. Ability to handle physical work load.
Must pass required drug and alcohol testing
Must be able to provide own transportation to job
Skills
Proven work experience as a truck driver
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
Valid Class B CDL truck driver's license with air brake endorsement and medical card
Compensation based on previous experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
