Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Santa Fe, NM, providing outpatient physical therapy to patients recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, apply and direct therapeutic modalities, supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants, document treatment sessions, and communicate progress with referring physicians. Maintain professional competence through continuing education and participate in quality improvement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment/evaluation, decision-making, time management, and documentation.
- Experience delivering outpatient physical therapy treatments and modalities such as therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, soft tissue mobilization, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and functional mobility training.
- Ability to supervise PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants and co-sign progress notes as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient clinic experience preferred.
- Experience developing home exercise programs and patient/family education preferred.

- Shift hours: 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Outpatient setting.
- Dress code: khaki pants and white polo.
- No weekend requirement.
- No on-call requirement.
