JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery
- Licenses: Active VA License
- DEA: Active VA DEA
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, Board Certified
- Experience: Experienced pediatric surgeon
- Other Qualifications: COVID Vaccination required; COI coverage of $2.6M/$7.8M if requested
Duties & Responsibilities - Collaborate with pediatric providers to diagnose and determine surgical necessity.
- Manage and perform preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for pediatric patients.
- Provide full-time clinic coverage Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, and take night and weekend call.
- Round on admitted patients and perform weekend surgical consults as needed.
- Respond to emergency consults within 15 minutes callback and 30 minutes response time.
