- Specialty Backup Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs onsite
- Support Staff Available: 2 physicians, 2 APPs
REQUIRED PROCEDURES - Endoscopy (Upper and Lower)
- Inpatient Consults
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified (will consider truly Board Eligible)
- Licenses: Active Michigan (MI) License and CSR; Universal License (IMLC) acceptable if dates 60+ days out
- DEA: Active DEA required (verbal confirmation at name clear)
- Certifications: ACLS
- Experience: Completed Fellowship with minimum 2–3 years of experience required
- Other Qualifications: Local candidates only (driving distance); COVID Vaccine required; Clean background (minor malpractice acceptable)
Duties & Responsibilities - Perform outpatient and inpatient endoscopy procedures (upper and lower)
- Provide inpatient GI consultations within scheduled hours
- Cover 24-hour weekend call (Sat/Sun) without weeknight call
- Document patient encounters in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with on-site physicians and APPs to deliver comprehensive care
