• Specialty Backup Available: Imaging and Laboratory Services
• Coverage Model: 24-hour Physician Coverage Utilizing 12-hour Shifts

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Emergency Medicine Core Privileges

• Emergency Stabilization and Treatment Procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Unrestricted Texas Medical License
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active DEA with Texas Address
• Emergency Medicine Board Certified Physicians
• Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Board Certified Physicians – Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Required
• Current Emergency Medicine Experience Within the Past 2 Years for FM/IM Candidates
• Other Qualifications:
• Completion of Residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Fellowship Preferred
• Current TB Test Within 12 Months (Chest X-Ray Required if Positive)
• Hepatitis B Immunization
• Two MMR Vaccinations or Positive Titers
• Two Varicella Vaccinations or Positive Titers
• Tdap Vaccination Within the Last 10 Years
• Current Influenza Vaccination
• COVID Vaccination
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Emergency Medical Care in a Free-Standing Emergency Department
• Evaluate, Diagnose, and Treat Acute Illnesses and Injuries
• Perform Emergency Procedures Within Granted Privileges
• Document Patient Encounters in Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with Clinical Staff to Maintain Continuous 24-hour Physician Coverage
