We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthetist to join our client in Florida for a 100-day assignment starting Aug 24, 2026. This full-time role involves a demanding in-house call rotation, requiring flexibility for both weekday and weekend shifts. The incoming professional will handle a diverse range of anesthesia procedures for cardiac, orthopedic, general, neurosurgery, vascular, endo, GYN, robotics, and trauma cases, excluding pediatric and obstetric patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Be available to work weekends and demonstrate scheduling flexibility.
- Provide anesthesia for a comprehensive range of cases including Cardiac, Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma.
- Perform various procedures such as regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placement.
- Manage general to trauma cases; non-trauma CRNAs will be considered for general cases.
- Participate in a mandatory in-house call rotation, typically two shifts every six weeks, encompassing weekend shifts (10, 12, 14 hours) and weekday shifts (12, 13, 14 hours, and 3 PM-11 PM).
- Maintain full-time coverage with a minimum number of shifts per month.
- Be prepared for cross-credentialing at West Marion Community Hospital as needed.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
- Average credentialing time is 90 days.
- The EMR system used is iProcedures.
