Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for a unique Hospital Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Fresno, California.
This newly developed Advanced Practice Provider care model offers the opportunity to support multiple hospital facilities throughout the Fresno market under a streamlined credentialing process, creating exceptional schedule flexibility and long-term assignment stability. Providers will become part of a collaborative Hospital Medicine team supporting observation services, cross-coverage responsibilities, rapid response initiatives, and specialized inpatient care workflows across a large integrated healthcare system.

Clinical Responsibilities
Depending on facility assignment and shift selection, responsibilities may include:
- Observation patient management
- Long length-of-stay patient rounding
- End-of-life and goals-of-care management
- Inpatient cross-coverage
- Rapid Response Team participation
- Care coordination with Hospital Medicine physicians
- Collaborative multidisciplinary inpatient care
- Epic documentation and order management
This opportunity is designed around a specialized APP care model and does not follow a traditional admissions-heavy hospitalist workflow.
Practice Environment
Providers will support a diverse mix of inpatient facilities ranging from community-based programs to large tertiary referral centers and trauma-capable hospitals throughout the Fresno market. The system offers:

Provider Requirements

- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
