PATIENT INFORMATION
- Patient Demographics: Obstetric and Gynecological patients; Newborns ≥34 weeks gestation
- Case Mix: Obstetrics (prenatal, labor & delivery, postpartum), Gynecology
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in Department: Labor & Delivery unit within a 79‑bed medical center
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, Obstetric emergencies, Gynecologic consultations and procedures as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Licenses: Active Arizona license or Universal License (IMLC)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year post‑residency clinical experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 24‑hour in‑house coverage for obstetrical and gynecological patients, including labor management and emergency care.
- Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries and manage postpartum care.
- Consult on gynecological emergencies and perform indicated surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, midwives, and specialty backup as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and handoff communication in the EMR.
