Clinical Practice Details
CRNAs will provide anesthesia coverage across a broad range of specialties including:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- OB
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Urology
- Podiatry
- Vascular Surgery

Anesthesia Department Overview
- Approximately 250–300 OR cases monthly
- Approximately 20–30 OB cases monthly
- Independent CRNA workflow
- Collaborative perioperative support staff
- Established anesthesia operations and scheduling structure
Procedural Expectations
- Regional Blocks Required
- Epidurals Required
- Comfortable managing varied surgical acuity
- Independent anesthesia delivery and perioperative management
Call Structure
- Weekday Call Rotation: 1:5
- Weekend Call Rotation: 1:7
Practice Environment

Candidate Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Active Iowa License preferred
- NBCRNA Certified
- ACLS, BLS Required
