Camden, New Jersey Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking New Jersey licensed Emergency Medicine physicians for a locum tenens assignment at a regional hospital in Camden, New Jersey. This long-term startup role offers the chance to work in a busy emergency department with a high patient volume, Epic EMR, and comprehensive shift coverage.
Opportunity Highlights
- Emergency Medicine locum tenens role
- Assignment start: September 30, 2026, ongoing for 6+ months
- 342-bed regional hospital setting
- ED volume: approximately 51,000 annually
- ED beds: 32
- Coverage: all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- EMR: Epic
- Provider must have NJ licensure and DEA active and in good standing
- Must be willing to work all shifts, including 10-hour shifts
Schedule Details
- Shifts: Day and night shifts, schedule to be confirmed
- Shifts per month: approximately 25
- Coverage: 24/7 availability required
Clinical Scope
- Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency medical presentations
- Management of trauma, acute medical, and procedural cases
- Collaboration with nursing, ancillary staff, and hospital teams
- Disposition, admissions, and transfers as appropriate
- Documentation within Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active NJ medical license and DEA registration
- MD degree
- ABEM or AOBEM board certification or eligibility within 5 years
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications
- 1-3 years of emergency medicine experience preferred
- Willingness to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends
