Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Texas-licensed Occupational Medicine Physicians or APPs for a locum tenens position in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas. This is a high-demand, long-term assignment in well-established occupational medicine and urgent care clinics, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive support.
Opportunity Highlights

- Outpatient occupational medicine, urgent care, physical therapy, and advanced specialist services setting
- Schedule: Every Thursday in Lubbock and PTO coverage as needed
- Patient mix: Scheduled and walk-in patients of all ages

Schedule Details
- Start date: June 29, 2024
- End date: December 31, 2026
- Weekly Thursday coverage in Lubbock
- PTO coverage as required
Clinical Scope
- Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
- Conduct pre-placement DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for private companies and government agencies
- Evaluate and treat urgent care walk-in patients of all ages
- Perform in-office procedures, including suturing
- Communicate with employers and provide medical guidance for occupational health needs
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license (MD or DO)
- Active DOT certification
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Ability to treat patients of all ages and perform procedures such as suturing
