About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17101!
We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist Physician for a 42-day assignment in Pennsylvania, beginning Jul 6, 2026. This role involves 24/7 GI call coverage across three hospitals, with shifts from 7:30am to 7:30am including onsite responsibilities and night call. The physician will be responsible for consultations, various GI procedures including ERCP, follow-ups, rounding on inpatients, and discharging patients as appropriate.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24/7 GI Call coverage across three hospitals.
- Perform consultations for inpatient (IP) cases.
- Conduct GI procedures, including ERCP.
- Round on inpatients and perform follow-ups as appropriate.
- Discharge patients.
- Provide night call coverage.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
- EMR System: Epic
- Schedule: 7:30am-7:30am shifts, with 7:30am-4:30pm onsite/in-hospital and night call from 4:30pm-7:30am.
