We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 100-day assignment in Florida, beginning Aug 31, 2026. This role features a NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS schedule, involving anesthesia for a diverse range of cases including Ortho, General, GYN, GI, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Neuro. The Anesthetist will operate within a collaborative care team model, working under medical direction to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia services with a schedule that includes no call and no weekends.
- Manage a variety of cases such as Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, GI procedures, Urology, Podiatry, ENT, and Neurosurgery.
- Work collaboratively within a care team model under medical direction, often staffing operating rooms.
- Perform spinal anesthesia, particularly for total joint procedures.
- Assist with induction and emergence while coordinating with physicians to optimize OR flow.
Additional Information
- Must possess an active Florida license.
- Credentialing process typically takes 90 days.
- Cross-credentialing is required.
- EMR systems include SIS for the surgery center and Cerner for hospital settings.
