Springdale, Arkansas Diagnostic Radiologist Locum Tenens Opportunity
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Arkansas-licensed Diagnostic Radiologists for a locum tenens opportunity in Springdale, Arkansas. This is an excellent chance to join a non-profit community hospital with a scenic setting in the Ozarks, providing moderate IR and diagnostic imaging coverage in a well-established Level III Trauma Center.
Opportunity Highlights
- Diagnostic Radiology locum tenens position
- Location: Non-profit 268-bed hospital in Arkansas
- Level III Trauma Center
- Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- No call and no weekend requirements
- Coverage: Ongoing
Schedule Details
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 07:00 – 15:00
- Duration: Ongoing
Clinical Scope
- Diagnostic imaging interpretation and reporting
- Moderate interventional radiology procedures
- CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (excluding mammography)
- Drain placements including renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder, and abscess drainage in Cath lab and CT
- Biliary stent placements
- Thoracentesis and paracentesis
- Dialysis procedures in Cath lab
- Occasional peripheral and pulmonary thrombolysis
- Rare embolization procedures for GI and other bleeding
- Collaboration with hospital-based teams in a community setting
Requirements
- MD degree
- Arkansas medical license or eligibility to obtain license
- Willing to consider licensing candidates; open to casting a wide net nationally
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology preferred but not required
- Active DEA registration
- Excellent diagnostic and procedural skills
