Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech Language Pathologist and use your skills where they are needed most. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders in a hospital setting. Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans and goals, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, complete required documentation, and participate in professional development activities. Demonstrate professional conduct, uphold patient and employee safety practices, and follow hospital policies and state practice acts.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
- Active New Jersey state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience providing SLP services in an acute care or hospital environment preferred.
- Experience with comprehensive evaluations, goal writing, discharge planning, and documentation in compliance with state, federal, and payer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with patient and family training, home exercise programs, and equipment trialing.
- Prior experience supervising students or participating in clinical education.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and hospital safety programs.
