How you’ll make an impact in this role
Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images of cardiac structures and hemodynamics to provide physicians with the critical data needed for life-saving diagnoses.
Navigate advanced imaging technology and manual techniques to identify subtle pathologies, ensuring every study meets the highest clinical and regulatory standards.
Consult as a technical expert by recognizing significant anatomical findings and equipment limitations, ensuring the most accurate and actionable results for every patient.
Champion patient safety and data integrity by maintaining rigorous quality control and ensuring all digital records (PACS) are precise, clear, and complete.
Coordinate the end-to-end imaging experience—from patient positioning to final documentation—to provide a seamless, professional, and compassionate journey for those in our care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following:
- Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
