About the Position We are currently seeking a CDL B Driver for a local position in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role offers a starting pay of $24 per hour. This is a home daily position with a 1st shift schedule starting at 6 AM.
Pay & Schedule - Starting pay: $24 per hour
- 1st shift: Monday to Friday
- Start time: 6 AM
Job Details - Route Type: Local
- Freight: Heating and air conditioning parts and products, including full units
- Equipment: 28 ft. straight truck
- Handling: Touch freight, requiring unloading with pallet jacks and dollies
- Daily Mileage: 300 to 400 miles
- Daily Hours: 10 to 11 hours
Key Responsibilities - Drive a 28 ft. straight truck to transport goods
- Load and unload freight, including heavy items
- Ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
Minimum Requirements - Valid CDL B
- 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL B driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
