Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed in TX
90 days to credential, needed for up to 1 year.
ABEM Only with minimum of 2 years of experience.
What are the shift times? 6a - 6p, 6p - 6a.
Is call involved? No.
What procedures are required? Intubations, central line placement, Ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair, stemi, strokes.
What is the average patient census? 80 per day.
What are the most common cases the locum will see? All Variety of Emergency Medicine Cases, some high acuity.
Annual ER admissions? 20%
How many EM physicians are typically on staff per shift? 1 EM per shift and 24 hour APP coverage.
Must have TX license (or in process) and DEA dedicated to locums work.
Client provides Travel & Lodging.
$2,000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 160 hours.
