Patient Volume:
* Number of Admissions per Day: 3* Average Daily Census / Case Volume: 31 patients per day* Bed Capacity: 47 total beds (33 licensed NICU beds, 12 Special Care Nursery beds, 2 bassinets)
Clinic Responsibilities:
1. Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections2. Provide ventilation management, including:
* BiPAP/CPAP* Oscillator ventilator support* Nitric Oxide (iNO)
* Perform neonatal procedures, including:
* Chest tube insertion* Central line insertion* Arterial line insertion* PA catheter insertion* Umbilical Venous Catheterization (UVC)* Umbilical Artery Catheterization (UAC)* PICC placement
* Manage emergency situations and participate in neonatal resuscitation* Potentially supervise Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs)* Document patient care using EPIC EMR.
