About the Clinician's WorkdayThe neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive stroke call coverage and interventional services working 3-6 days per month on 24-hour call schedules. Primary responsibilities include performing craniotomy procedures and stroke interventions while responding to emergency consultations requiring immediate intervention. The clinician must maintain board certification in neurological surgery and demonstrate expertise in stroke management while coordinating care with facility staff. Essential duties include evaluating emergency stroke cases, performing complex interventional procedures, and ensuring continuous availability for stroke activations and emergency surgical interventions.
