Schedule Details
- Monday-Friday Scheduling Structure
- 4x10 Weekly Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- 30-Minute Lunch
- Full-Time Availability Required
- Four Weeks Per Month Coverage Required
Practice Environment
- Large hospital-based anesthesia department
- Level I trauma center
- Medically directed CRNA model
- Collaborative anesthesiologist, CRNA, resident, and anesthesia tech support
- Advanced perioperative infrastructure

- NORA coverage required
- High-volume tertiary care setting
Clinical Scope
CRNAs will support a broad surgical case mix including:
- Orthopedics
- Trauma
- Vascular
- Neuro
- Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA)
No:
- Cardiac cases
- OB coverage
- Neonatal cases
Skills Required
- Intubation
- Central Line Placement
- Arterial Line Placement
- General anesthesia proficiency
- High-acuity patient management
- Trauma anesthesia experience
Care Team Structure
- Medically directed anesthesia model
- Typical supervision ratios:
- 1:2
- 1:3
- Up to 1:4 for lower-acuity cases
- Collaborative academic-style workflow with attending anesthesiologists and residents
Candidate Requirements
- NBCRNA Certification Required
- Active Kentucky License preferred
- Open to licensing candidates
- Minimum 1 Year Experience Required
- No New Graduates
- Recent Large Medical Center Experience Required
- Level I Trauma Experience Required
- Comfortable within medically directed care team environment
