Rhino Medical is leading the charge actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM/AOBEM) for a high-volume, long-term locum tenens opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
This is a busy, well-supported emergency department within a Level II Trauma Center, offering a wide range of shift options, strong specialty backup, and consistent monthly scheduling. Indiana licensed physicians only will be considered.

high-functioning emergency department with strong operational flow and consistent patient volume.
Shift Structure
Multiple shift options available:
Weekdays (Tues–Fri):
- 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Monday variation:
Weekends (Sat–Sun):
- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Providers must be
flexible across day, swing, and night shifts.
Practice Environment
Team-based emergency department with:
- Physician and APP coverage
- Teaching environment with supervision of:
- Residents
- Medical students
- Advanced Practice Providers
Clinical Scope
Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine including:
- Trauma care (Level II)
- Medical emergencies
- Procedural interventions
- Specialty backup available:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- ENT
- Plastic Surgery
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Minimum 5+ years Emergency Medicine experience
- Trauma experience preferred
- Certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross only):
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS (at least once in career)
