Practice Environment
Providers work within a structured Emergency Department environment alongside experienced nursing teams, hospital support staff, and consulting specialists. The facility supports broad-spectrum emergency medicine with operational workflows designed for efficient patient throughput and collaborative clinical care.
Clinical Scope
- Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine care
- Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of acute medical and traumatic presentations
- Admissions, transfers, and discharge coordination
- Emergency procedures and critical care management
- Documentation and order entry within Cerner EMR
- Collaboration with hospital staff and consulting specialists
Candidate Requirements
- Active Missouri Medical License
- Active DEA Registration
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- PALS Certification (AHA or ARC)
- NRP Certification (AHA or ARC)
- Certifications must remain active throughout assignment
- Recent Emergency Medicine experience preferred
