The Staff Pad has partnered with a hospital in Helena, MT to hire a PRN Mammographer.
Position Overview:
The Mammographer performs mammographic and imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and participates in quality assurance (QA) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Perform mammography and imaging procedures in compliance with FDA, ARRT, and state guidelines.
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
Participate in QA and CQI activities to maintain high standards of care.
Maintain accurate records of procedures and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT registry in Radiology and Mammography required.
Permit to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Montana required.
3–5 years of radiographic/mammography experience preferred.
Knowledge of FDA/ARRT educational requirements for independent mammography practice.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.
Adaptable to changing schedules and departmental needs.
Demonstrates attention to detail, organization, and emotional maturity.
