Job OverviewPenFed is hiring a (Hybrid) Investor Reporting Analyst at our Irving, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; Phoenix, Arizona; Jacksonville, Florida or Tysons, Virginia location. The Investor Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing and delivering various monthly reports to assigned investors. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies. The Analyst will work closely with loan servicing, accounting, and data management teams to gather and analyze mortgage portfolio data, perform reconciliations, and address investor inquiries while ensuring policies and procedures are maintained and updated in accordance with regulatory, investor, and company guidelines.

- Investor Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports, including remittance reports and loan performance summaries.
- Ensure all reports comply with investor agreements, GSE (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) guidelines, and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with loan servicing teams to gather accurate data and validate information for reporting purposes.
- Prepare reports and remit funds associated with the monthly loan activity, payoffs, short sales, and other events to investors
- Set-up and maintain investor/pool headers including custodial accounts
- Submit turn around reports to Master Servicer for various investors resolving reporting discrepancies within required timeframe.
- Basic ability to review and understand servicing agreements to ensure compliance with all GSE and private investors.
- Effectively analyze, research and work with internal and external business partners for timely and accurate identification and resolution of exceptions
- Serve as a point of contact for investor inquiries, providing detailed and accurate information regarding mortgage portfolio performance and reporting.
- Data Analysis & Reconciliation:
- Analyze mortgage portfolio performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform reconciliations of remittance reports and loan-level data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in loan data by coordinating with internal teams.
- Responsible for Pool to Security reconciliation and Test of Expected Cash analysis
- Accurately prepare monthly custodial reconciliations within required timeframes.
- Contribute to providing key data points that assist in the preparation of KPI's or other required management reporting.
- Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure all investor reporting aligns with GSE guidelines, as well as FHA, VA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on changes in industry regulations and investor guidelines, advising management on necessary updates to reporting practices.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
- Work with applicable compliance team members to be aware of new publications published by AllRegs and update investor accounting policies and procedures to comply with the new requirements
- Support management in the identification of reporting trends and analyze key deficiencies
- Escalate to management any deficiencies, problems, or concerns that might be a potential risk
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and enhance investor reporting processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT and data management teams to implement system enhancements and automate reporting processes.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to support company-wide initiatives related to reporting, data management, and compliance.
- Assist with special projects within the department or other assignments as needed.
Qualifications An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent years of progressive experience is required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in investor reporting, or a related role within the mortgage servicing industry is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Applications.
- Experience with mortgage servicing software (e.g., Black Knight, MSP) or equivalent years of progressive experience is required.
- Experience with GSE reporting requirements and familiarity with FHA, VA, and HUD guidelines is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position will not supervise employees.
