CRNA Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a hospital or clinical setting
- Active Pennsylvania CRNA license and Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proven ability to manage a broad scope of anesthesia cases, including high-acuity and general anesthesia
- Completion of all required Pennsylvania healthcare clearances (3 PA clearances, drug screen, TB, immunizations)
- Full-time commitment strongly preferred; part-time healthcare professionals may be considered
- Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
CRNA Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a wide range of cases: general, orthopedic, endoscopy, vascular, neuro, cardiac, and more
- Work within a medically directed anesthesia care team model
- Participate in supervision ratios of 1:4, 1:3, or 1:2 based on case complexity
- Provide safe and effective anesthesia in 14 ORs, OB, EP lab, GI labs, and offsite healthcare locations
- Document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
