Opportunity Snapshot:A regional health system in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is seeking a locum CRNA to provide full-time night coverage within its float pool team. This role offers a broad case mix, exposure to a Level II Trauma environment, and the opportunity to work across multiple hospital and ambulatory sites. The position includes emergency privileging for holiday coverage and offers flexible, consistent scheduling.
Key Details:Start Date: February 9, 2026
Contract Length: 6-month minimum preferred
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Must be able to work full-time (36 hours/week)
Blocks not guaranteed
Overtime paid after scheduled shift (not after 36 hours)
Schedule released 8 weeks in advance
Facilities Covered:
Floating between multiple hospitals and ambulatory centers
Includes main OR, 4-OR satellite hospital, and 6-OR ASC (occasional float)
Case Mix:
All cases except transplants
Includes: Hearts, Thoracic, OB, Ortho, GI, ENT, Vascular, Healthy Peds (Dental/ENT)
OB and Thoracic experience required
Pediatric experience preferred
CRNAs perform own spinals and epidurals (no blocks)
