Position Overview
AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Urologist to join our AHMG Urology team in Littleton, CO. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, including surgical and non-surgical treatments. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive urologic care, ensuring exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system.
- Review and document patient medical histories accurately.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests and imaging.
- Utilize specialized equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
- Perform urologic surgeries and procedures as clinically indicated.
- Manage lower urinary tract disorders and related conditions.
- Prescribe medications for infections, injuries, and urologic conditions
- Provide expert consultations and coordinate referrals to other specialists when necessary.
- Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (APPs) and nurse practitioners.
- Participate in call coverage as determined by program needs.
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and organizational standards.
- DaVinci robotic surgery available, but not required
- Perform other duties as assigned to support patient care and team success.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with completion of accredited urology residency (and fellowship if applicable).
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
- Active State Medical License and DEA registration.
- Current BLS Certification
- Proficiency with modern medical technologies and surgical techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours and participate in on-call rotations.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Leadership skills with a collaborative team approach.
