The Department of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine is actively recruiting an additional fellowship trained cardiologist who possesses clinical expertise in heart failure and transplantation. Qualified applicants will have a proven record of research, teaching, and clinical distinction. Temple’s Heart and Vascular Institute (THVI) has a long history of clinical excellence, particularly in heart failure management, bi-ventricular mechanical support and cardiac transplantation. The new faculty member will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical Heart Failure services, including congestive heart failure transplant and mechanical circulatory support. will be . Graduating fellows and practicing physicians are both encouraged to apply. This is an immediate need, and preference will be given to experienced practicing physicians.

Candidate Qualifications
• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
• BC in Cardiology and board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant
• Candidates must have academic credentials that will qualify for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor
• Be in possession of or be eligible to receive an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License.
