Maintenance Technician
Location: Henderson, NV Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Henderson, NV. This role is responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment, performing preventative maintenance (PM), and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with machinery and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Repair: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial equipment using manuals and technical work orders.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform regularly scheduled PMs and comprehensive safety checks on equipment prior to operational seasons.
Work Order Management: Prioritize work orders (PM/CM) to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Safety & Compliance: Report hazardous findings to EHS and Maintenance Managers; generate follow-up work orders for resolution.
Quality Control: Inspect and record all work performed; conduct follow-up checks on repairs made the previous day.
Operational Support: Assist in developing Maintenance SOPs and participate in preparatory meetings for major overhauls and facility cleans.
Inventory & Logistics: Maintain an adequate supply of inventory for projects and report on workload progress or schedule interruptions.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in industrial maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to EHS protocols.
Communication: Ability to provide clear reports on project progress and collaborate effectively with management.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks related to equipment maintenance (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods).
