We are currently seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team in Arlington Health Center. This role is ideal for a provider who is passionate about community health, collaborative care, and making a lasting impact.
Job Summary
As a Physician at JPCHC, you will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients at our Anderson location and potentially other JPCHC sites. You’ll work closely with clinical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to practice management, quality improvement, and community engagement.
Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Provide direct physician services to patients in a full-time, on-site capacity
- Offer medical direction and supervision to care team members
- Support staff education and development in clinical best practices
- Lead and participate in quality assurance, utilization review, and clinical pathway initiatives
- Engage in patient satisfaction efforts and managed care programs (including Medicare/Medicaid)
- Participate in equitable call coverage with other full-time physicians
- Refer patients within JPCHC’s network, prioritizing patient preference and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with inpatient and outpatient facilities to ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Indiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Commitment to serving underserved populations
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
- Experience in FQHC or community health settings preferred
