RN Obstetrics – Full Time Nights (12-Hour Shifts)

Position Summary
Join our dedicated Women’s Services team at Abrazo Arrowhead and bring compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns. As an Obstetrics RN, you’ll provide individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside care within our Obstetrics unit, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes for both mother and baby.
You will use the nursing process and your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care—while also mentoring and supervising other members of the healthcare team. This role involves active participation in hourly rounding, maintaining a safe environment, and occasionally stepping into charge responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to obstetric patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide support during postpartum recovery, deliveries, and newborn care.
- Act as a supervisor by planning, delegating, and directing care for healthcare team members.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practice and identify patient-centered goals.
- Uphold safety protocols, patient experience standards, and compassionate communication.
Schedule
- Full Time | Nights
- 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Includes Night Shift Differentials

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred Education: BSN.
- Preferred Experience: 1 year Postpartum experience.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Arizona RN license (or compact license).
- Current CPR.
- ACLS (as applicable by facility/department).
- NRP required upon completion of orientation.
