TheVanderbilt Eye Instituteis actively seeking afellowship-trained Cornea specialistto join our dynamic and growing faculty. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a collaborative academic practice, currently supported by two expert corneal specialists with extensive experience in managing complex corneal diseases and performing advanced corneal surgeries.
The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is home to a multi-specialty academic ophthalmology practice with more than 60 clinical and research full-time faculty members, state of the art facilities and equipment, and multiple satellite locations to accommodate over 175,000 patient visits annually. VEI faculty members contribute to a vibrant, collaborative, and nurturing academic environment, training some of the brightest residents, medical students, and fellows.
Qualifications:
- Completion of aCornea fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible by theAmerican Board of Ophthalmology
- Strong clinical expertise and comfort in managingcomplex corneal conditions and surgeries, including ocular surface diseases and inflammatory disorders (e.g., scleritis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, peripheral ulcerative keratitis, anterior uveitis)
