Franciscan Physician Network is seekinga Board Certified General Surgeonto join a group of general surgeons that also provide level 3 trauma and acute care surgery atFranciscan Physician Network Indy Southside Surgical Indianapolisin Indianapolis, Indiana with possible outreach to Mooresville. Interested candidate will be joining a fast-paced, talented, and cohesive team. Additionally, this candidate would be collegial and have a strong focus on both clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
WHAT WE NEED:
Ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and operative skills, as well as ability to prioritize patient satisfaction. Candidate will display good interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
Flexible full-time schedule
Schedule is a blend of clinic and OR time
Shared call responsibilities
Average outpatient volume: 25 – 30 patients per day
Average inpatient volume: Varies
Inpatient rounding on surgical patients
Most common procedures performed:
Da Vinci Robot ("Xi" with "Firefly") considerable console time available weekly; Hospital willing to negotiate training and proctoring for a surgeon willing to become competent on robotic-assisted surgeries
