Opportunity Details:
- Epilepsy-specific clinical practice
- Designated service time overseeing the admitting APP in the PEMU
- Interpreting PEMU EEG, Neurotelemetry EEG and routine EEG studies
- Participation in phases I and II of the Epilepsy presurgical evaluation
- Interpretation of StereoEEG and intraoperative electrocorticography
- Participation in the call schedule: primarily for EEG with limited general child neurology coverage
- Option of limited general inpatient consultation staffing
Join an established team of 19 Pediatric Neurologists;including 8 Epileptologists,5 Advanced Practice Providers,2 Dieticians, and 2 Genetic Counselors. Our multidisciplinary Epilepsy team includes 3 Pediatric Neurosurgeons, Neuroradiologists and Neuropsychologists with expertise in Pediatric Epilepsy surgery. Care for our most vulnerable populationat Riley Hospital for Children, a 35-bed tertiary and quaternary children's hospital with a designated 8-bed pediatric epilepsy monitoring unit. Participate in didactic and clinical education for residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in pediatric epilepsy or neurophysiology required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Neurology
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana,
