Schedule: One Week On / One Week Off (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.)

Location: University Hospital + Satellite Community Hospitals
We are seeking a highly motivated Infectious Disease Physician to join our expanding team in a hybrid role that combines inpatient consults with outpatient clinic care. Enjoy a one week on / one week off schedule, promoting an excellent work-life balance while engaging in meaningful, high-impact work.
Role Highlights:
- Provide inpatient ID consultations and follow-ups during your week on
- Conduct afternoon outpatient clinics during that same week
- Round on new inpatient referrals after clinic hours
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists, specialists, and primary care teams
- Contribute to infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
- Help develop and expand a growing ID program, including strategic planning and quality improvement
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease
Academic & Development Opportunities:
- Teaching: Engage in mentoring residents and medical students, and contribute to academic activities such as lectures and didactics
- Research: Participate in clinical trials or QI projects related to ID, antimicrobial stewardship, or hospital epidemiology
- Telemedicine (Future): Opportunity to incorporate virtual visits for outpatient follow-ups or low-acuity consults
