Description:
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Leads and manages the provision of respiratory services in ambulatory pulmonology setting. Directs, monitors and manages all day-to-day operations of the departments, including staffing, scheduling, workload prioritization, cost management, and equipment utilization / maintenance. Creates an efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment with staff and with physicians. Is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality are followed and maintained.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Requires a Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Administration.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience and three years supervisor/management experience.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Understands the latest clinical, regulatory and technological aspects of respiratory care for ambulatory settings. Operates in a highly accountable manner under senior leader direction. Demonstrates critical thinking, prioritization, time management, and delegation skills. Has excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Has basic computer skills and can utilize tools to create efficient processes.
