Position Summary/Department Summary:The BCH Outpatient Psychiatry Service offers comprehensive evaluations for a wide range of conditions that affect the mental, emotional, and social health of children and adolescents. New patients receive a diagnostic evaluation and specific treatment recommendations tailored to the child and family. We are currently seeking a 40-hour experienced social work to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families cope with complex personal, family, medical and environmental problems.
- Experience with performing psychosocial and risk assessments, conducting evidence based therapy interventions, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.
- Providing clinical supervision to student interns.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:- Master's degree in Social Work
Experience:- Minimum of 2 years plus of Social Work experience required
- Experience with children/adolescents and medical environment is highly desirable.
- Previous social work supervisory experience preferred
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Spanish language skills strongly preferred
