We are actively hiring Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for home care opportunities in:
Westchester County, NY
Orange County, NY
Dutchess County, NY
Putnam County, NY
Ulster County, NY
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care to infants, children, and adolescents at home according to the plan of care and physician orders
Perform comprehensive assessments and document clinical notes accurately and timely
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and prevention
Notify RN Case Manager of changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality outcomes
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions
Accompany pediatric patients to school for one-on-one nursing care when needed
Follow all infection control procedures, safety measures, and company policies
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Valid New York State RN license (required)
Current CPR certification
Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience in an acute/critical care setting (home care experience preferred)
Skills & Abilities
Proficient in vents, trachs, oxygen therapy, feeding tubes, catheters, and ostomies
Strong knowledge of pediatric disease processes and medication interactions
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and backgrounds
Calm and professional response in emergency situations
What We Offer
