Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Start Date: August 18, 2025
End Date: June 4, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, on-site candidates following the school schedule of 8:15 AM 3:45 PM, MondayFriday.
Pay Rate: $35.00$45.00 per hour
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support one elementary school in Arlington Heights, IL. This position is part of a well-established, collaborative team focused on providing direct IEP services aligned with academic and functional goals.
You will be working alongside:
Multiple resource teachers
School psychologists
BCBA
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs)
Occupational therapists (OTs)
Social workers
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct services based on IEP goals
Collaborate closely with team members to address student needs
Provide specialized instruction tailored to individual student goals
Track and report student progress accurately
Requirements:
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
Experience in an elementary special education setting is preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
